I loved it! mostly because it's so rare to talk about sexuality when we are hill, and the lost of libido and self esteem are one of the biggest issues to deal with. Loved the sensuality of the scenes, and the care and kindness the actors had between them.

I loved the authenticity and courageousness of the story and how it was so beautifully acted by Victoria Rose and Jonte! Also, how you captured the beauty of their relationship, nature in the final scene, and Victoria’s character’s journey cinematically as she finds a sense of sexiness, connection with herself and her partner, a sense of wholeness, and healing again. The awkwardness, tenderness and passion were so real - fantastic! The topic is so important. Thank you, Rebecca for using the inspiration of your own courageous story to bring this film to life. I authored the guide to Navigating Sex After Cancer that came out alongside this epic film and when I watched it today I cried and cried and cried. I felt it all, remembered it all, saw it all portrayed with such dignity and artful humanity that I was just speechless. As I watched I had my own new bandages from my last cancer surgery just a few days ago, experiencing much of what is being shown in the film and I am grieving the loss of my ovaries. I appreciated the inspiration to cry amidst the utter beauty in this film, my grief washed over me and I continue to have hope that this setback will just set me up for my next come back. Director if you are reading your comments, I witness your journey and I am honoured to have shared some of my story alongside yours this month. Stay well.

I am without words, this is my favorite movie on XC. Soo sensual and slow and beautiful. The transition from her frustration to her opening up and releasing all that anger by receiving so much love from her partner. Even her moaning seemed more real and authentic than many others. Her partner is fantastic too. I also like that it was only "her treat" and that he did not expect reciprocity.

Love this film. The story in it and the story behind it are incredibly powerful. It is so sensual in portraying such intimacy. A woman beginning to find herself after cancer and a partner so into giving and being supportive. Beautiful!

Thank you for this film... you nailed it. I'm just six days post lumpectomy and found out I have to undergo a second procedure. The mourning and anxiety that surrounds everything having to do with breast cancer is very deep but especially the stress of not knowing how it will affect our sexuality and expectations of intimacy. I am hopeful.

This is the film that made me subscribe. Was a hared by a wonderful guy who does ASMR creations. The below is what I sent in an email (when I couldn’t gain access - was helped so quickly, thanks again). So powerful.. and empowering @ moment of reclaiming her sense of sensual self. Loved the Director’s Cut at the end. Glad Rebecca has come through that chapter in her life (so recent @ 2019! And before our world turned upside down in so many ways…)… and been able to play her story forward and make a difference. Hope she’s well. So true @ what she says about parts of the media and stories being shared. I’d also added - Just the quick scroll of various titles has my interest piqued! I’m all about the REALz and the FEELz, so Erika and her ethos is right up my street. And I am definitely enjoying my dipping in sessions. :)

This film and Victoria Rose's portrayal hit closer to home than you know. Rebecca has done a wonderful job in telling this story that is familiar to so many, but, as she said, seldom talked about. Victoria is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen, and, no doubt, ever will see. The honesty and realism she projects is moving and evocative of deep emotional connection within the viewer. In my humble opinion, she has everything it takes to be an iconic performer in mainstream film. This is hands down the best film I've seen through XC, and I've seen almost all of them I think! Brava to Victoria and Rebecca, and to Jonte, as well, for he stood down and played his role so well in quietly and unassumingly setting the stage for Victoria to shine through and tell her story. Thank you all.

Excellent film… but also …what an excellent Behind The Scenes! Rebecca Stewart’s own story and her experience with sex / illness is remarkable for its insight, its honesty, but also (unfortunately) its rarity. Rebecca’s interview is a must-watch for any woman battling cancer, depression, post-birth recovery, severe illness, or really any health issue.

I cry every time I watch this— I’m so moved by the beauty, the reality, the victory, the pain, the sensuality, the love, the patience, the … well the EVERYTHING about this.
