This is how we make our adult movies
The Store by Erika Lust is part of a new wave of adult cinema made with an ethical production process. We encourage an ethical production and distribution of adult movies and hope to challenge mass produced mainstream pornography.
These are the principles that we follow with our own productions and that we seek in the productions that we distribute.
Equal pleasure for everyone
Women's pleasure matters. Our women-identifying characters have their own sex drive and desires, and are not passive objects focused primarily on pleasuring men.
Diversity
We aim to represent all people equally and respectfully. We do not reduce performers to any primal feature, whether that be body shape, ability, age or ethnicity.
Fair pay
Every person involved in the making of the film is paid fairly & each director or studio we feature is paid commission from the sale of their films.
Transparency
We are proud of what we do and who we are. You can always find the names of producers, directors, performers, and everyone involved in the making of a film.
Safe sex environment
Every performer provides an up to date STI test & chooses their form of protection.
No surprises
Every part of the shoot should be discussed and agreed beforehand with all performers.
