I loved to witness the connection between the two. The slow and soft touch, the music, the voice. But a vibrating toy in a tantric massage is definitely more than misplaced. Artificial vibrating movements that are so far from human touch has nothing to do with tantra as it’s about finding pleasure in the most subtle touches and in raw skin to skin connection. Unfortunately missed the essence of tantra there. But the movie itself is wonderful!

The narration and music as well as the two actors are absolutely beautiful connected together, it was really enjoyable for me up until the point where the toys came out...if it is an ode to Tantra and human connection that started out slow and sensual with the oil here, why introduce vibrating machines into the moment...for me felt like a break of the raw reality, his touch that was so carefully introduced, bodies to bodies, the vibrations we are able to feel when we connect deeply with other humans is much more intimate than the contact of controlled devices sending waves to us. I know the sex toys industry is thriving with innovation and people want more more more, however if this was a return to the basics, to our infinite potential of pleasure and understanding the art of Tantra, why giving in to using toys...out of habit ? Fear of how much we can feel together or the sensation we have lost because of toys ? Out of curiosity ?
